When given a problem...

As we develop our problem solving skills we are learning to explain the strategies we use to others.  We think about the mistakes we make and how we can learn from these, and learn to justify our solutions.  These mathematicians worked through this process while thinking about a strawberry patch and seats on a plane.

Super Shapes

After an exciting game of 'Name that Shape' Room 20 made some detailed observations about several artworks that have been created using shape - you can check them out on our class site.  We have now begun to create our own shape inspired artwork.  Today was stage one - getting our shapes ready.

What are you thinking?

When given a problem to solve at maths we need to figure out what it is asking us to do so that we can find a solution.  Maskil, Jayde, Rio and Max do a great job explaining what they are thinking when they solve this problem.
